This Semester things will be different ........

Those are the words on the lips of every college student who has just returned from the winter hols.
Of course unless you actually mean it,it aint guna happen sweetheart ;)
Got my exam results to day,
Passed all 8 modules,
Im awesome
Had to be said.
Was supposed to go out tonight and dance the night away to the best of the noughties in tripod, but am feeling sick and not in best shape at the mo :(
Havent really got any stories from the last while, cept
We had a fantasically eventfull time on Black Monday, which kicked off the semester in great style. Roscommon girls are legends!

Am Back in Good old Roebuck with the roomies and we now have a TELLY!!! even though we're not rich enough to afford Sky,we're still happy with our 5 channels of brainwashing trivial nonsense.
Today for example myself, katie and niamh sat for hours straight watching, Oprah,Ellen,Animal A+E,Glee,Documentary on Obama,Legally Blonde and the news. I love being a student.

Spent the day being ecstatic over my exam results and being lazy and in pain, although John did get me to walk to Centra and then back to Roebuck so he could visit me.
So far he is the ONLY person who can get me 2 meet him halfway(but im always late haha)
Then took a trip down to el doctor cos i aint feelin well (THANK YOU KEVIN O MALLEY!!!)
and now trying to get sleepy before 3am to get my body clock back in working order
Thats not gonna happen either!!!!
:(
Im now gonna switch off this godforsaken thing and do somthing more productive like finishing off my Marie antoinette Biography by Antonia Fraiser,
Which is AMAZING!!!

Yes im a bit weird for being so obsessed with Marie Antoinette, but she was a very interesting and misunderstood woman who suffered at the hands of public perception, reputation, scandal and media backlash.
Meh, its my thing.

Good bye 09

So, another end to an important year.

Looking back on 2009,its kinda hard to believe that its was the end of a decade. I mean come on, the noughties may not have been the most original generation we've had, but it sure as hell was a lot of fun. My teen years began and are about to end in this decade(well almost)

it was the decade you could be famous for absolutly anything!
for being watched 24/7 on a lil sumthing we call Big Brother
For being myspace famous because u were so scene
For having a Sex tape/ n00dz 4 the world to see
For being a mediocre singer and winning a record deal
You could win millions, make marrying a footballer a career, make ur own music and stick two fingers up at the record company by posting it online and achieving instant stardom.
It was the decade everyone wanted to be ''indie'',everyone wanted to be americas next top model and everyone was making surgery acceptable.
Jordan became an icon mum,and the most hated person in britian.
Marc Jacobs ruled the runway
Kate moss spilled coke all over it.
America declared War on terrorisim, and america fucked it up........again
We saw massive devastation with 9/11, 7/11,Hurricane Katrina, Iran,Iraq,Tsunami and the wars in the holy land.
Global Warming became a national concern
Paris 'whore' hilton became a national icon
We got rid of Bush and Brought in Obama
We failed at eurovision too many times
We saw the celtic tiger claw his way through our countires economy and we became a nation of extreme excess.
This year we saw the tiger die.
The king of Pop died
Pop became a joke and indie and alternative defined our decades airwaves.
Our sex was on fire, we were chasing cars and we wanted to feed the world all over again.
Beckham left united for spanish soil,Keano divided a nation and Ireland did not win the world cup.no surprise.
We were wearing leggings again, sporting braces, polka dots came back(and left thank god) wearing denim hot pants in muddy music fields and sienna miller gave us Bo-ho chic.

oh and i managed to finish school and get into college :)

all in all it was eventful.
